🔵⚪ Blue & White Beauty Newly Restored Classic Adventure$12,400
Plus Taxes & LicensingThis 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is believed to have been sold new in Florida, where it remained through two owners before being acquired late last year. It had been with the previous owner for over a decade and underwent a restoration about 6500 miles ago that included a bare metal repaint along with new exterior seals and other cosmetic updates. The 1500cc flat-four engine was rebuilt during the updates and received an oil change and valve adjustment within the past month. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle. The vehicle comes with a clean Florida title.
Exterior
Originally entirely light blue, the car was given a bare metal repaint in its current blue with white side panels during the cosmetic updates. The vehicle has been lowered and carries a wooden roof rack mounted to the rain rails. New exterior seals and gaskets were installed following the repaint, and the rear window currently has a large “Aloha” sticker. The painted 15″ steel wheels carry a set of Atlas white wall tires.
Interior
The light tan patterned seat covers were updated during the restoration, and slight looseness is visible on the driver’s seat bottom. A woven under-dash tray has been installed along with new rubber floor covering. A newer digital radio has been installed on the center of the dashboard along with upgraded speakers. The odometer currently shows 6,532 miles and is thought to have been reset during the updates.
Mechanical
